<p>For more than 20 years, the name João Portugal Ramos has been associated with Portuguese wines, first as a consulting winemaker for well known brands of wine and since 1992 as a bottling producer.</p> <p>The success and the prizes accumulated throughout his career have earned him the national and international recognition as one of the main responsible for the evolution of the Portuguese wines in the last decade.</p> <p>The Alentejo was the region chosen to produce its first wines. In 1990, João Portugal Ramos planted the first five hectares of vineyard in Estremoz, where he has lived since 1988, starting his personal project. It expanded its activity beyond the Alentejo from 1989, reaching Ribatejo, Beiras, Douro and Vinho Verde</p>

Is a Commercial Society by Quotas constituted by public deed, the 16 of December of 1968.<br />It is the result of the merger of two small producers who started their activities many years before 1968 and later created the firms Manuel Joaquim Mira and Domingos Luiz Pinto & Filho, Lda., Both with wide traditions in the wine field. Therefore, and as a result of such merger, SOVIBOR is managed by people traditionally linked to the wine business.</p>
<p></p><p>Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999 at Quinta do Côtto, and later worked as an oenologist at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Douro. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, namely Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha.</p>
<p>Respiro Altitude is highly gastronomic—ideal with grilled seafood, ceviche, baked fish, fresh salads, or vegetarian dishes. Its natural freshness and layered complexity make it a refined choice for lighter meals or warm-weather sipping.</p> <p>It presents pale citrus in color, it opens with aromas of white and citrus fruits, subtle floral notes, a touch of vegetal character, and a marked mineral freshness. On the palate, it is vibrant and elegant, with firm acidity and a dry, textured finish. </p>
