Aragonez da Malhadinha Red Wine comes from the Alentejo region, specifically Albernoa, and is classified as a Vinho Regional Alentejano. Made entirely from 100% Aragonez grapes grown on a 7.3-hectare vineyard planted in 2006 on schist soils, the grapes were hand-harvested and carefully selected. Fermentation took place in a controlled-temperature lagar with multiple foot treads, followed by 18 months of aging in new French oak barrels.
Aragonez da Malhadinha Red Wine shows a deep garnet color with violet hints. The nose offers vibrant aromas of ripe red fruits, milk chocolate, licorice, and well-integrated oak. On the palate, it is fresh yet structured, with the fruit harmonizing beautifully with the oak notes, producing a generous, full-bodied wine with ripe tannins and a long, spicy finish.
