<p></p><p>Palato do Coa started in 2007, when the winemaker Carlos Magalhães challenged 5 of his friends to buy Quinta da Saudade, located in the Douro Superior, Vila Nova de Foz Côa; considered by many one of the best terroir of the Douro region, in Portugal. With the goal to produce the best Douro wines, the estate has 7.5 hectares of old vineyards and 8.5 hectares planted in 2010</p> <p></p>
<p>Cartuxa REserva Red Wine presents deep garnet in color, it reveals aromas of ripe red and black fruits intertwined with notes of spice, cocoa, and fine oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with firm yet polished tannins, balanced acidity, and a long, elegant finish. With 15% alcohol, Cartuxa Tinto is best enjoyed at 16–18 ºC and pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, game dishes, and mature cheeses.</p>

Thus it has been since the company’s founding in the eighteenth century by Bernardo Ferreira, whose formula was refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, known affectionately as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua".</span></p>

It portrays in Psichomachia a battle between virtues and vices, which illustrates the struggle of soul against the seven deadly sins, in which virtues always triumph. </p>

<p>Respiro Clarete presents pale ruby in color with pomegranate reflections, it reveals fresh aromas of red berries, floral hints, and a light smoky minerality. On the palate, it’s dry, crisp, and finely textured with a refreshing acidity and soft tannins. Light in body but full of personality, this wine is perfect served slightly chilled and pairs beautifully with grilled seafood, salads, and light Mediterranean dishes.</p>
<p></p><p>Paulo Laureano began to be known for being one of the most productive consultant oenologists in Alentejo, one of the most sought-after oenologists considered by the new wave of producers who arrived in the Alentejo in the mid-90's. He was also known as Mr. Mouchão when he started to lead the oenology team of this classic Alentejo producer, as well as his classic mustaches that stand out from the crowd</p>
<p></p><p>On the hot plains of the Baixo Alentejo, just a few kilometres from the city of Beja, is one of the oldest wine estates in the region. Its vineyards represent decades of history that Henrique Uva has preserved and farmed for many years and which he always wanted to develop as an independent producer.<br />In 2004, he achieved his dream, with the project that goes by the name of Henrique Uva/Herdade da Mingorra. The Winery is surrounded by 1,400 hectares of a landscape that can be considered exuberant, such is the diversity of plants and fauna, with several river basins forming veritable oases. The Winery is a true place of worship. A place where modernity and functionality can be found alongside indelible traditional techniques.</p>
