<p></p><p>In 1988, A Danish-American couple set out in a sailboat to find a place to start a family and plant a vineyard. They came to Alentejo, and in a land of white varieties, they planted red. And so begins the story of Cortes de Cima Family Vineyards</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>The ancestral family connection to agriculture was the catalyst for the present generation embracing this project.<br />The origin of Eloi Ribeiro´s connection with this project stems from the family history, where his parents and grandparents had always lived on vineyards and olive groves. Today, Tiago and André Ribeiro, his sons, with innovative approaches are the keys of the family in the development of this project.</p>
<p></p><p><span>Adega Mayor has 80 hectares of cultivated vineyards in this region of Alentejo, of which 69 are at Herdade das Argamassas and the remaining 11 at Herdade da Godinha. <p></p><p>VINILOURENÇO is based in the Upper Douro, in Poço do Canto village near the City of Meda. It was created with the mission of transforming and revitalizing the production of the vineyards that began to be planted in the 80's by Horacio Lourenço, after returning from Angola. His wine passion led him to develop his heritage</p>
<p></p><p>Vinha da Rosa Rosé Wine reveals a pale pink colour. Fine, delicate aroma. On the palate it's fresh and structured, with notes of raspberry and tropical fruit predominating, with a long finish</p> <p>After careful selection and sorting at the entrance to the winery, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed. Fermentation took place at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. Part of the blend fermented and aged in used 500-litre barrels.</p>
<p></p> <p>Cicónia Red Wine presents ruby colour with violet hints. Intense aroma of red and black forest fruits, harmoniously combined with floral and toasted notes. Smooth tanins, nice acidity, very juicy and fruity.</p> <p>It match with Mediterranean food in general, pasta, lamb, poultry and soft cheeses</p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Herdade Grande Viosinho White Wine has a greenish-yellow colour. Aromas of stone fruit and pear, with hints of pineapple. The palate is creamy and rich, balanced by a vibrant acidity that denotes its terroir of origin</p>
