Enjoying the site climate of the Serra de São Mamede and a natural method, resulting in a perfect combination to produce unique wines, in harmony with nature.</p> <p>The several plots of vines are planted in balanced soils, giving privilege to natural methods. Carefully blended from a number of Portuguese indigenous varieties such has Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional e Tinta Miúda (for the reds) or Antão Vaz, Arinto and Alvarinho (for the whites). This is a project crafted by the awarded winemaker Duarte de Deus, practically crafted by hand, in small quantities and with an artisan spirit.</p>

<p></p><p>The wines of Solar dos Lobos are the result of a triple selection of clusters that only came from our 75 ha of vineyard. The first selection starts near to the painter stage, where a thinning of bunches is made, in order to select just those which will allow to obtain the maximum quality. The second selection takes place during the harvest, when workers are alerted to cut just the grapes which are in perfect sanitary condidition. The third selection is made during the winery grape entry as the recolt is discharged from 20 kg boxes to the mat of choice, where 2 to 4 people remove all the leaves, branches and the clusters which show no quality: being too green or too mature.</p>

<p></p><p>Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito was founded in 1960, but its chronology goes far beyond its almost 60 years of existence. Its roots are intertwined with the history of the village itself, and with Vasco da Gama - the Count of Vidigueira, to whom D. Jaime, Duke of Bragança gave the village in 1519. In the winery's viticultural patrimony are discovered native grape varieties, perfected from generation to generation, among which stands out the Antão Vaz grape variety. This caste legitimated as the caste of Vidigueira and muse inspiring the Winery, gives rise to an exceptional white wine whose notoriety is worth the title of "O Branco do Alentejo".</p>
