PALMEIRIM D' INGLATERRA wine owes its name to a famous chivalry romance from the 16th Century, written by Francisco de Moraes, a Transmontano and common ancestor of the owners of the farms where it is produced, located in the sub-region of Chaves - Tras-os-Montes.

Its current owners come from families long rooted in these lands and wanted to preserve the memory of their ancestors, producing a quality wine that, together with other activities, dignified the culture of this unique territory.

The grape varieties are mainly Portuguese. The harvest is carried out manually by grape variety and vinification is carried out in a traditional lagar where innovations have been made to guarantee fermentation with temperature control. Rui Cunha and Sérgio Alves are the oenologists responsible.
