AdegaMãe Riesling is a unique white wine from the Lisbon region of Portugal, produced by AdegaMãe, which stands out for offering an expressive interpretation of this international grape variety in an Atlantic climate. This is a single-varietal wine, made 100% from the Riesling grape, cultivated in clay-limestone soils in the Torres Vedras sub-region. Winemaking is carefully controlled, with total destemming, light pressing, cold decantation, and fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. Some editions benefit from battonage (aging on fine lees) for a few months, contributing to its complexity and creaminess.
AdegaMãe Riesling, presents an attractive and bright golden straw color. The aroma is intense and complex, with floral notes of jasmine, ripe peach, tangerine, apricot, honey, and a very slight and characteristic "petrol" hint typical of the varietal. On the palate, its acidity is very lively and refreshing, softened by ripe fruit and a slight creaminess, resulting in a lemony, saline, lively, and very prolonged finish. This Atlantic Riesling is an excellent gastronomic partner, ideal for seafood and other shellfish, green salads, white meats, and soft cheeses, enhancing its acidity and mineral character.
