Romeira 2023 White Wine
Romeira is a fresh and elegant white wine from the Lisboa wine region, produced by Caves Velhas, one of Portugal’s most traditional wineries. Depending on the vintage, the blend may include native varieties such as Arinto and Fernão Pires or Chardonnay for more recent releases. In the Chardonnay version, part of the wine matures in used French oak barrels, adding subtle complexity while preserving its naturally vibrant profile.
Romeira White Wine presents bright straw-yellow color with floral and citrus aromas. On the palate, it is refreshing and well-balanced, showing lively acidity and a light mineral edge. In vintages with oak maturation, delicate notes of vanilla and toasted nuts complement the fruit, giving extra volume and smoothness. Serve at 8–12 °C. Ideal pairing with seafood, grilled fish, salads, and white meats.
