<p></p><p>The company was founded in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, who served as chairman until 1973. The management is still held by the descendants of MESSIAS family. <span id="result_box" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Since its foundation</span> that MESSIAS <span lang="en" xml:lang="en">has been producing and selling high quality wines from the main demarcated regions:</span> Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto. <p>The edition of Touriga Nacional da Peceguina appears once more with a nose very typical of the grape variety, very expressive with violet notes, red ripe fruit and a perfectly integrated barrel. On the mouth it is intense and very complex, with good strucure and an attractive freshness amidst the toasted and spiced notes, and with fruit filled long finish.</p>
<p>Hand-harvested in small boxes and carefully selected, the grapes were fermented in traditional lagares at controlled temperature and aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Limited to just 3,600 bottles, Teixinha Aragonez Red wine delivers intensity and refinement in equal measure, making it an excellent companion for roasted meats, game dishes, and hearty Mediterranean cuisine.</p>

The grapes ripen, thus, in a slow and balanced way, with cool and wet winters, mild summers and the constant presence of the sea winds, creating wines where elegance overrides robustness.</p>
