<p></p><p>Quinta Monte d'Oiro Vindima 13 de Outubro White Wine was initially intended as a late harvest but ended up being a dry white wine. Very full in colour, very complex in the aromas where the almond and dried fruit notes give the wine an austere and dark tone. <p></p><p>This fortified wine dates back to the 14th century and reached its golden period by the laborious hands and sharp mind of Sebastião José de Carvalho e Melo - Marquês de Pombal and Conde de Oeiras. Carcavelos' wine ran the world. It entered the most varied cultures. It has even given part of its 'soul' to Port wine in order to give it a 'body' and a superior taste.
