Crochet is a four-handed wine that faithfully translates the colossal and indomitable spirit of the Douro. A wine made by two friends, Susana Esteban and Sandra Tavares da Silva, winemakers who share not only a relationship of deep friendship but also a common passion for wine and a sensitivity and visions similar to what the Douro can and has to offer
Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999, at Quinta do Côtto.
