Quinta do Monte Xisto 2020 Red Wine

Quinta do Monte Xisto is vinified in granite wineries with foot steps followed by an 18-month stage in 600-liter pipes. The varieties are Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa and Souzão

In 1993, João Nicolau de Almeida identified an extraordinary place for the production of wine. Apparently it was an improbable site, being literally a lot of shale, of very difficult plantation. He began to buy land, little by little, with considerable difficulty considering that they were small parcels belonging to a multitude of owners. It took a job worthy of an investigator to identify them until he was able to form the current Quinta do Monte Xisto
