Quinta da Aveleda Loureiro and Alvarinho is a harmonious wine in which the floral aromas of the Loureiro grape variety are merged to perfection with the tropical notes of the Alvarinho.
Quinta da Aveleda is the ideal choice to accompany refined salads comprising seafood, goat cheese-based starters and dishes made from white meats such as turkey or chicken. It must be drunk very cold at a temperature of 8 to 10ºC.
<p></p><p>Fonseca has belonged to the first rank of Vintage Port producers since the nineteenth century. Its Vintage Ports are noted for their luscious fruitiness which develops great opulence and complexity with age.</p> <p>This Brand was created in 1815 by two families, Fonseca and Monteiro. Then came the Guimaraens family who led the firm for over the century and established its reputation as a 'first growth' Vintage Port house. <p></p><p><span>Soalheiro is the first Alvarinho brand in Melgaço (the northern point of Portugal) and one of the first portuguese producers of Alvarinho.<br /></span></p> <p>Soalheiro Alvarone has an intense colour. Strong aroma with notes of wood, honey and ripe fruit. Full-bodied and very persistent.<br />Its ageing in oak barrels and its acidity give it the perfect profile to harmonise with dishes traditionally associated with red wines. It pairs perfectly with oily fish; red meats such as goat or lamb; game meats; and white meats such as turkey, duck and chicken. It also goes well with cream or mushroom sauces.</p>
<p></p><p>Singellus Loureiro presents well-marked notes of flowers and citrus aromas, characteristic of the variety. In the mouth it shows a freshness and singular minerality.</p>
