    Encoberta 2019 Red Wine

     Encoberta Red Wine presents black fruits and spicy notes also in the palate, dry, some earthy character, and with a slightly tannic finish. 

    Encoberta Red Wine is a very characteristic red wine from Penalva do Castelo (Castendo sub-region) and a typical Dão blend of the main varieties of this area. The soil composition, with granite, quartz and clay, different from our other vines in Vila Nova de Tazem with granite, makes this wine a little more fruity, dense and with texture, without losing its freshness and minerality. A Dão that shows its origins.
