<p>Niepoort White Reserve is harvested earlier than usual on the island, aged in stainless steel and is composed of three grape varieties: Verdelho, Arinto from the Azores and Terrantez from Pico.</p> <p>The colour is golden due to its partial stage in wood.</p> <p>In the nose, one can feel the iodine of the sea, citrus, apricot, spices such as vanilla pods.</p> <p>In the mouth it is structured, denser than one would expect, with an acidity that balances the almost salty aftertaste.</p>

It possesses lively and captivating acidity, with a robust and textured body. <p></p><p>At the end of the 90's, with the development of the activity, João Pedro Araújo's family decided to acquire Quinta da Vegia, in order to start producing red wines.</p> <p>Located in the Dão Region, next to the town of Penalva do Castelo, it currently has 20 ha of vineyards. His mindset followed a careful choice of grape varieties - Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Alfrocheiro and Tinto Cão, Encruzado and Bical - in order to create Quinta da Vegia wines.</p>
