It was in 2004 that the first ODISSEIA red wines were produced.

But Jean-Hugues Gros has been working in the Douro since 1999. After completing his oenology course and several internships in Burgundy in 1992, Jean-Hugues had the unique opportunity to spend 16 months in Porto at Sandeman. And that's how the discovery of Port wines, the charming Douro region and its red wines began.
After a few more experiences in California and Champagne, the definitive return was in 1999 to work in a small port company located near Tabuaço. Nowadays, Jean-Hugues is a producer and also an oenologist consultant for several Quintas do Douro.
