Esporao 2 Castas is an annual challenge for the winemakers to find two grape varieties from that harvest which, combined, show a well balanced wine with distinctive character and flavour.

Esporao 2 Castas is produced by Herdade do Esporão. This Alentejo wine is fresh, rich and full bodied with a light mineral touch and a long persistent finish.

On the palate it's fresh and structured, with notes of raspberry and tropical fruit predominating, with a long finish</p> <p>After careful selection and sorting at the entrance to the winery, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed.  Fermentation took place at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. Part of the blend fermented and aged in used 500-litre barrels.</p>
