    CARMIM - Cooperativa Agrícola de Reguengos de Monsaraz - was created in 1971 by a group of 60 winegrowers with the objective of producing and marketing wine, from the grapes of a group of winegrowers of the region.
    CARMIM currently has about 900 members and produces 74 wine references: from whites to reds, from youngsters to reservations, to liqueurs, rosé and sparkling wines. CARMIM also produces brandy and oils of recognized quality

    Vinification
    Grapes from selected stands, with pre-fermentative maceration of 48h, followed by fermentation at 23ºC with the use of reassembly and deslagging, total maceration of 15 days
    Ageing
    In barrels, second use of French oak, for 12 months. After bottling, the wine stacks in bottle for 6 to 8 months

                  <p></p><p>Susana Esteban was born in Tui, Spain. She holds a degree in Chemical Sciences from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a Master's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja. She began her trajectory as an oenologist in 1999 at Quinta do Côtto, and later worked as an oenologist at Quita do Crasto between 2002 and 2007. Both farms are located in the Douro. She has worked since the 2007 harvest as a consultant in different Alentejo producers, namely Tiago Cabaço Wines, Herdade do Barrocal, Monte dos Cabaços and Monte da Raposinha.</p>

In addition to cork, which plays a central role in her family universe, Luisa soon discovered that wine is one of her great passions. She later began to manage the Quinta Nova of Nossa Senhora do Carmo estate in the Douro and the Taboadella estate in the Dão region. Her family originally acquired the Herdade Aldeia de Cima estate in 1994.
