Ipiranga is a premium red wine from the Douro Valley, crafted by winemaker António Braga using grapes sourced from five parcels across the region’s three sub-regions. Made from a blend of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Sousão, and Tinto Cão, the wine undergoes cold pre-fermentation maceration followed by gentle extraction. It is then aged for 16 months in used French oak barrels, achieving complexity while preserving purity of fruit. Limited production of just over 4,000 bottles highlights its boutique character.
