On the palate we are surprised by its vibrant acidity and freshness, with tannins that are present but already partially soft, due to the long ageing in vats, without showing any presence of wood in the wine. It's a wine that stands out for its persistence and ability to age in the bottle for another 10 to 15 years. It should be consumed in moderation.</p>

Vintage in April 2014 using the classic method. Ageing on the lees in bottle for 107 months. Degorgement March 2023.</p> <p></p>

            <p></p><p>Kompassus Cercial White Wine presents citrus-coloured wine with greenish tones. Mineral notes, citrus fruit and some vegetal flavours. A very fresh wine, but with volume in the mouth and a long finish. Very gastronomic.</p> <p>Cercial harvested in the first week of September. Pre-fermentation skin maceration for 4 hours, followed by gentle pressing. Start of fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Final fermentation in used 400 litre French oak barrels for 10 months with batonnage.</p>

                          <p></p><p>Horácio Simões Moscatel Licoroso Castelão Heritage is the result of intense work split between the vineyard and the winery. The vineyard was monitored and pampered throughout so that yields did not exceed 1500 litres/ha and the grapes arrived at the winery in the ideal state of health and ripeness. At the winery, a ‘special’ vinification process was devised for this product, different from what was usual in other companies in the region.</p> <p>As an accompaniment to a good dessert served at a temperature of 14ºC. </p>
