In 1990, João Portugal Ramos planted the first five hectares of vineyard in Estremoz, where he has lived since 1988, starting his personal project. It expanded its activity beyond the Alentejo from 1989, reaching Ribatejo, Beiras, Douro and Vinho Verde</p>

Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). <p></p><p>Quinta do Crasto Vinhas Velhas is deep ruby in colour. The nose shows a particular complexity, with notes of gum cistus and fresh spice, very well integrated with exuberant aromas of wild fruits. Elegant on the palate, rapidly evolving into a wine of excellent volume and a compact structure made of fresh, velvety-textured tannins. The finish is lingering and balanced. A wine that mirrors the unique identity of the old vines of Quinta do Crasto</p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>Dona Matilde is produced from Old Vines with local grape varieties, mainly Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Amarela. It is a wine with a ruby color, with a complex aroma, initially to cherry and strawberry followed by mint, fig and spices. In the mouth it is soft and smooth but with plenty of volume and structure. The wine shows hints of strawberry throughout the taste. Long aftertaste.</p>

<p></p> <p>Migalha by Palato do Coa Red Wine comes from an old vineyard, aged for three years in used barrels and two years in bottles before being commercialised.</p> <p>The aroma is very expressive, with red fruits and rock rose, the mysterious and vaguely mineral side typical of old vines. Beautiful architecture on the palate, with an excellent balance between body and acidity and plenty of verve to keep it going in the cellar.</p>
