<p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Mondego – located in Nelas – is a Family Owned Estate and one of the most important vineyards of this wine region of Portugal. The vineyards of Quinta do Mondego flourish in an idyllic setting on the banks of the river that names the estate – MONDEGO, which result in elegant and traditional wines that embrace the Terroir</p>
<p></p><p>All property vineyards are officially class A. The farm has 23 hectares of vineyard with an average age of 20 years and 20 hectares excerpted in more recent years.</p>
<p></p><p>Poças White wins is made from white indigenous Douro varieties source from the highest zones (600 meters) in Quinta de Vale de Cavalos to assure freshness, on a transition between granite and schist soil.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta dos Avidagos has a wide range of wines that goes from Avidagos White, Red and Rosé, Quinta dos Avidagos Tinto Reserva, Quinta do Além Tanha Tinto and Quinta dos Avidagos Grande Reserva Tinto. The indigenous varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, for the reds and Gouveio, Rabigato and Viosinho for white, allow them to achieve all the personality and character of the terroirs of the Douro. Combining cutting-edge winemaking with the traditional foot treading in granite mills (lagares), the aim is to produce wines with excellent value money with recognized quality worldwide, international profile and the nature of their homeland. The excellence of the wine culture, the use of traditional varieties, as well as the structural conditions of the region and the human project, has constituted the secret of success. <p></p><p>Quinta da Pacheca is one of the best known estates in the Douro region and also one of the first properties to bottle wine under its own label. It is first mentioned in a document dated April 1738 but it was only in 1903, when Dom José Freire de Serpa Pimentel decided to develop his interest in oenology, began to seriously dedicate himself to the risky business of winemaking. Today, a century and many successes later, a brand-new generation of the Serpa Pimentel family</p> <p></p>

<p></p><p>Poças Vinha do Cerro is produced from a plot of old vines from Quinta de Santa Bárbara, in Ervedosa do Douro (Cima Corgo), and is presented as a terroir wine, displaying the particularities of a high altitude vineyard, foot treading in a wine press and ageing in new French oak barrels.</p>
<p></p><p>Inóspito Vinhas Velhas Roncão Red Wine originates from three micro plots of old vines, planted in 1900, between 250 and 400 metres above sea level, with grapes carefully harvested by hand, we produce a unique Douro born in a terroir in the heart of the upper Corgo sub-region, near the villages of Vilarinho de Cotas and Casal de Loivos.</p> <p>Poor, schist soils contribute to a unique profile and an expression of a Douro interpreted as it used to be, fresh, complex and with structure, without any tartaric correction. </p>
