The white wine Prima of Quinta do Vallado differs from the typical Moscatel due to his dryness. This wine is made with 30 years old Moscatel vineyards. Before fermentation take place the moist was kept together with the liquid, a technique called Skin Contact.
Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous Quintas in the Douro Valley. It once belonged to the legendary Dona Antia Adelaide Ferreira, and still belongs to her descendents.
