<p></p><p>Quinta do Portal is a family fine winemaking company that embraced with passion the “Boutique Winery” concept. They proudly produce DOC Douro wines, premium Port Wines and Moscatel. This project that started in the early 90’s of the XX century, had on its base a centenary estate where this family has been producing Port since the last years of the XIX century</p>
<p></p><p>Four young brothers from Mesão Frio joined hands to create a wine-producing company that already has 150 hectares, spread over seven farms in the Douro Demarcated Region and launched the first wine at the end of 2011.<br />Roberto, Ricardo, Rafael and Rudolfo, with 33, 29, 26 and 23 years, make up the R4 Douro Family.</p>
<p></p><p>MATEUS & SEQUEIRA VINHOS SA is based in the DOURO in S. João da Pesqueira - heart of the first demarcated region of the world and world heritage of humanity by UNESCO, as a young and enterprising company with a past full of work linked to the winemaking tradition and research in the Douro Vinhateiro region.</p>
<p></p><p><span>From a single parcel of very old vines, Vinha da Granja, planted in 1929. A field blend of 34 diferent grape varieties.</span></p> <p>Very concentraded and intense aroma, with balsamic notes from the Oak well paired with figs, black plums and tabacco.</p> <div class="font-italic">Full-bodied, firm and mature with round, velvety tanins. Mineral, with a complex and persistant finish.</div>
<p></p><p>The nobleness of the castes Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, associated to the ground and the agro-climatic complex of the region has given Quinta Seara d’Ordens Reserva Red wine personality and a unique character. </p>
