    Tasting Notes
    Beautiful brown colour with a brown rim and a touch of green. On the nose, a wine from another era, but very much alive and delicatess. A fabulous concentration of coffee and liqueur which comes through on the palate with long spirity finish.

    It is fermented with foot treading in lagares.

    After fortification with grape brandy, the wine ages for many years in casks and in old oak vats in our winery in the Douro Valley.
