<p></p><p>The Quinta do Côtto, in Cidadelhe, relatively close to the Régua, is a property of 75 hectares of vineyard and a plot built in the eighteenth century. The owners of the farm, the Montez Champalimaud family, exclusively produced Port wine until the beginning of the 20th century. In 1980 Miguel Champalimaud launched the first Quinta do Côtto Grande Escolha, consolidating the concept of Douro's quinta wines, which are still rare in the region.<br />The Quinta do Côtto brand has grown greatly in notoriety since then, until it became one of the most classic and prestigious references in the Douro region</p>

<p></p><p>M.O.B. Garrafeira is a wine that perfectly encapsulates the tradition and distinctive character of the Dão. Made from old vines and benefiting from prolonged ageing, this red reveals an impressive harmony between depth, freshness and elegance.</p> <p>On the nose, it has a youthful yet complex and sophisticated aroma. Notes of noble spices from the barrel ageing stand out, surrounded by layers of ripe fruit and mineral ‘nuances’, with an intriguing hint of hot iron.</p> <p>On the palate, the aromatic promise is confirmed: the structure is full and creamy, supported by vibrant acidity and dense but very well integrated tannins. <p></p><p>Quinta da Alameda Red Wine reflects the tradition, history and origin of the wines from Quinta da Alameda de Santar. Prolonged aging in French oak barrels (400 liters) and two years in the bottle brings out the personality, strength and elegance of a wine that is here to stay. With aromas of intense fruit, light vanilla and spices, the palate reveals a marked acidity, reminiscent of the granite soil and the freshness of the forest surrounding the vineyard.</p> <p>It's fruity, with notes of red fruit, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries, a light floral touch, very complex, transmitted by the diversity of the old vines. The wood is subtle, making the wine sweet, very delicate and with the robustness and tenacity of a great Dão wine.  Dão. Intense on the palate, very long and with well  tannins. This wine has a balance that leaves you  take mouthful after mouthful without tiring the palate</p>
