"The Altas Quintas project is born of the obsession to make wines with different characteristics in Alentejo for discerning lovers.

The difference of Altas Quintas starts at its location. On a plateau at 600 meters altitude in the Alentejo.
This location and the microclimate of this plateau generate unique Terroir conditions and that feel in the wines.
We have strongly reduced production. More than 70% of the bunches are removed in green so that those that remain have another structure and quality. We only produce 3,500 liters per hectare.
We do all the fermentation of reds in french oak barrels from Seguin Moreau, at controlled temperature, and we only use the stage barrels until the age of 3 years. To elaborate our wines we counted on a technical team led by the producer João Lourenço."
