<p>After careful harvesting at optimal ripeness, the grapes undergo total destemming, gentle pressing, and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 16 ºC. Cartuxa White Wine is then aged on fine lees with bâtonnage for nine months, adding richness and complexity. Bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas combine with subtle floral notes and a touch of minerality. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with well-integrated acidity and a smooth, lingering finish. With 13% alcohol, this white is best served at 10–12 ºC and pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, and Mediterranean-inspired dishes.</p>

<p>On the tasting notes, O Fugitivo Tinta Amarela typically exhibits a lighter color, characteristic of the grape. The aroma reveals vegetal notes and spices, with a prominent presence of black pepper, along with hints of red fruits, currant, root, and licorice. On the palate, it is described as a well-balanced and elegant wine, with firm yet fine tannins and a long, persistent finish, noted for its pure and flavorful profile. It is recommended to serve this wine between 16ºC and 18ºC. For food pairing, it beautifully complements aged meats, grilled red meats, and game dishes like venison. While enjoyable young, "O Fugitivo Tinta Amarela" also possesses significant aging potential, developing further complexity over time.</p>

<p></p><p>Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito was founded in 1960, but its chronology goes far beyond its almost 60 years of existence. Its roots are intertwined with the history of the village itself, and with Vasco da Gama - the Count of Vidigueira, to whom D. Jaime, Duke of Bragança gave the village in 1519. Thus arose the first connections of Vidigueira with the family of Gama.</p> <p>Based on the effort and dream of most of the wine growers in the regions of Vidigueira, Cuba and Alvito, this winery, one of the oldest in Portugal, is today a modern and visionary SME. In the winery's viticultural patrimony are discovered native grape varieties, perfected from generation to generation, among which stands out the Antão Vaz grape variety. This caste legitimated as the caste of Vidigueira and muse inspiring the Winery, gives rise to an exceptional white wine whose notoriety is worth the title of "O Branco do Alentejo".</p>
