<p></p><p>Casa Ermelinda freitas is a wine brand recognized by the world for its magnificent wines. From its very beginnings, made the quality of its vineyards and wines a top priority. When the company first started, wines were produced and sold wholesale and unbranded. It was the current management that decided to take on the challenge that is involved in creating an own brand wine. 1997 was the year of the company's new beginning in wine making, with red wine "Terras do Po tinto", being the first to be produced and bottled on the premises of the Ermelinda Freitas winery.</p>

On the palate it's fresh and structured, with notes of raspberry and tropical fruit predominating, with a long finish</p> <p>After careful selection and sorting at the entrance to the winery, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed.  Fermentation took place at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. Part of the blend fermented and aged in used 500-litre barrels.</p>

<p></p><p>Monte das Bagas de Ouro Reserva Red Wine is produced from the Antão Vaz grape variety.</p> <p>The Petit Verdot grape variety was the inspiration, the basis and the reason for this Reserva. The aroma is expressive, intense and enveloping. The fruits of the forest mixed with floral notes of violets, enveloped in a shy note of toast and pepper win us over immediately.
