Vira Cabeças is a unique white wine from Portalegre, Alentejo, from centenary vineyards on granite soils in the Serra de São Mamede. This field blend of multiple traditional grape varieties, vinified and aged in wood and amphorae, has smoky notes on the nose, minerality and aromas of ripe fruit, jam and dried fruit, with hints of orange peel and honey. On the palate, it is an intense, full-bodied wine with excellent unctuousness, a rich texture and good acidity, culminating in a long, persistent finish that reflects the authenticity of its terroir.
