It is an independent company specialising in dry red wines which has been at the forefront of the DOC Douro quality revolution and instrumental in driving forward the high quality image of the region.</p> <p></p>

<p>Casa da Passarella O Fugitivo Barcelo displays a citrine color. The nose is elegant and complex, offering notes of white fruits (like yellow plum and lychee) and melon, intertwined with mineral, floral, and subtle toasted oak nuances. <p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p></p> <p></p>

<p>Wine born in the "Canto do Zé Cruz", whose vineyards are over 35 years old. They produce grapes of intense colour and concentrated aromas. With early maturation and good yield, the Aragonez grape variety gives rise to wines with high alcohol content, balanced acidity and aging capacity</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Mouro is located at the gates of the city of Estremoz, and belonged for centuries to the Zagalos family, one of the wealthiest in town. This original "quinta" in Alentejo, where the vast estates dominate, has an 18th century grooved house, charming gardens, bowls and 18th century tanks. In 1979, at the age of 26, luck dictated Miguel Louro's fate at a poker table, among friends, when he had the dilemma of buying a Porsche or Quinta do Mouro. The first hectares of vineyard would be planted in 1989, after a failed incursion into cattle breeding, and today he is one of the most iconic wine producers in the region.</p> <p></p>
