Vinha do Pastor Red Wine from Casa Alexandre Relvas produced in the Alentejo region
Acquired by Alexandre Relvas in 1997, Herdade is located in the county of Redondo and has about 175 ha of total area, of which 35 ha are of vines planted in loamy-clayey soils derived from shale. It also has 97 ha of cork oaks, planted between 1998 and 1999.
<p></p><p><span>Founded in 1955, Adega de Borba was the first of a series of wineries settled in the Alentejo region. <span>Nowadays the Adega de Borba brings together 300 associates whose vineyards cover a total area of 2,000 hectares, 70% of which is cultivated with red grape varieties and 30% with white ones</span></span></p>
<p></p><p>Damião de Goes was an honorable portuguese historian and humanist from the XVIth century. Was an incessant Traveller and published diverse works, some lead him to be chased by the Inquisition. This wine is produced with the main grape varieties of Alentejo, and aims to pay tribute to this notable portuguese.</p> <p> </p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>Monte Velho Red was launched for the first time in 1992, its name comes from the monte located next to the Caridade reservoir, at Herdade do Espor. At the time, the wine boasted the same origin and philosophy as Espor Reserva but was created to reach more people and make daily wine consumption an experience.</p>
