The wine maintains its fruity character on the palate, but at the same time it is serious and austere, supported by a beautiful acidity. It has a long and dry finish.</p> <p>Teixinha preserve the tradition of the new generation of the family participating in labels, but now with a new and also original challenge: that of each of them reporting their experiences about what Teixinha represents through writing. <p></p><p>LV - Lobo Vasconcelos 2023 White Wine presents citrus color very attractive in the aroma, where notes of lime, orange blossom, and vibrant minerality stand out. A captivating wine in the mouth, of lively acidity and balanced structure. With a seductive and fresh finish.</p> <p>Grapes from previously selected plots, transported in 22 kg boxes, were subjected to rigorous sorting at the winery reception. After the grapes were destemmed, slightly crushed, and then gently pressed, in pneumatic presses. The must was transferred to a stainless-steel vat where it remained at a temperature of 8ºC for 48 hours until it was decanted. Alcoholic fermentation took place in a stainless-steel vat with a controlled temperature of 14º C during a 30 days period.</p>

<p></p><p>Scala Coeli Reserva was obtained from the best vinifications of the harvest, using less traditional grape varieties in the region. In 2019 it resulted from the vinification of the Cabernet Sauvignon variety, harvested on 27 August. On that day, the grapes were carefully harvested and taken to the winery, where cold pre-fermentation maceration took place, followed by alcoholic fermentation at a temperature of 28ºC and prolonged maceration. Total incubation of 20 days. Aged for 15 months in new French oak barrels and 24 months in bottle</p>

<p></p> <p>Pera Manca White Wine is made from a selection of Arinto and Antão Vaz grape varieties, planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. When the grapes reach their ideal ripeness, they are harvested and transported to the winery, where the technological process begins: total destemming and slight crushing, pressing, cooling and clarification of the must. Part of the batch ferments in stainless steel tanks, the other part in French oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 16ºC. Fermentation is followed by ageing on fine lees with periodic batonnage for 12 months. Finally, there is filtration, blending, tartaric and protein stabilisation, final filtration and bottling, followed by a final 10-month bottle ageing.</p>

<p></p><p>Petrichor White Wine has a slight amber colour. It evokes the memory of the smell of rain falling on dry soil, of cut grass and where orange peel stands out. A gastronomic wine with good acidity and tannins from contact with the skins.</p> <p>The grapes are hand-picked early in the morning into small boxes to preserve their freshness, then cooled in a cold room before being vinified.</p>

<p></p><p>Vinha da Rosa Rosé Wine reveals a pale pink colour.  Fine, delicate aroma. On the palate it's fresh and structured, with notes of raspberry and tropical fruit predominating, with a long finish</p> <p>After careful selection and sorting at the entrance to the winery, the grapes were destemmed and gently pressed.  Fermentation took place at low temperatures in stainless steel vats. Part of the blend fermented and aged in used 500-litre barrels.</p>

<p></p><p>Vinha do Lado Red Wine presents intense colour, with aromas of jam, ripe fruit, truffles and vanilla. On the palate it has good acidity, soft but firm tannins and a long finish.</p> <p>The grapes are destemmed and carefully selected at the hand-picking table. After crushing, they are trodden in marble presses using the traditional foot treading method.  Transfer to stainless steel vats where the alcoholic fermentation finishes. This is followed by 12 days of post-fermentation maceration.</p>
