The Quinta das Tecedeiras is located in the prime area of the vineyard Douro, eight kilometers upstream of the village of Pinhão. In this property with a privileged view of the river Douro, there are memories of a rich history, mainly of the vineyard, but also of the weaved weavers of linen, who gave it its name, and of the olive grove. <p>Elegant and layered Palácio dos Távoras Grande Reserva White Wine shows aromas of citrus blossom, ripe pear, and a delicate touch of vanilla and toast. To the regional development of Trás-os-Montes and the site of Santa Valha and Rio Torto, evidencing the history and wine-growing of these lands, this group allied the identity of its roots to a business project of creation and development of agro-alimentary products of high quality.</p>

<p></p><p>Lavradores de Feitoria (a.k.a. Feitoria) is a unique project, created on September of 2000. Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas. Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p></p> <p></p>
<p></p><p>The company was founded in 1926 by Mr. Messias Baptista, who served as chairman until 1973. The management is still held by the descendants of MESSIAS family. <span id="result_box" lang="en" xml:lang="en">Since its foundation</span> that MESSIAS <span lang="en" xml:lang="en">has been producing and selling high quality wines from the main demarcated regions:</span> Bairrada, Douro, Dão, Vinho Verde, Beiras and Vinho do Porto. <p>Quinta da Casa Amarela has been in the possession of the same family since the year 1885. The housing, rebuilt and expanded in the first quarter of the last century, lends the name to the property, because of the yellow color with which it is painted .
