Resulted from the union of 15 producers, owners of 18 Quintas spread throughout the best terroirs in the 3 sub-regions of the Douro region (Baixo Corgo, Cima Corgo and Douro Superior). Nowadays the company has 48 shareholders (of which 15 are producers), and 19 Quintas.  Together, they have a total area of vineyard of more than 600 ha.</p> <p>The goal of this brand has been, since the beginning, to create balanced and elegant wines that age well, having as a starting point the declared commitment with the excellence and tradition of Douro</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p></p>

<p></p> <p>Confirma-se presents a very expressive nose, with predominant notes of fresh red fruit (raspberry, strawberry, cherry), but surrounded by a fresh and seductive mineral aroma. In the mouth, the granite mill and wood ageing component comes through - a dry, structured wine with a wide mouth, tannins present and character. It finishes long and refreshing, with vibrant acidity and tannins that are present but soft.</p>

<p></p><p>The Quinta do Filoco vineyards produce the best nectars of the Douro region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The vineyards and the Cellar were being modernized with new equipment, combining tradition and modernity in the well know how to make wine. <p></p><p>H.O Achado is the result of a combination of different plots from H.O's old vineyards, complemented by the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Sousão grape varieties.</p> <p>It is a deep ruby-colored wine. Its aroma is very complex, with notes of forest fruit, sous-bois, black fruit and balsamic freshness. In the mouth, it has very fine, polished tannins that provide structure and finesse at the same time.</p>
