MATEUS & SEQUEIRA VINHOS SA is based in the DOURO in S. João da Pesqueira - heart of the first demarcated region of the world and world heritage of humanity by UNESCO, as a young and enterprising company with a past full of work linked to the winemaking tradition and research in the Douro Vinhateiro region.

<p></p><p>Casa Ferreirinha and its wines are synonymous with quality, time and art. Thus it has been since the company’s founding in the eighteenth century by Bernardo Ferreira, whose formula was refined by his descendants, especially his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, known affectionately as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua".</p>

Is a Commercial Society by Quotas constituted by public deed, the 16 of December of 1968.<br />It is the result of the merger of two small producers who started their activities many years before 1968 and later created the firms Manuel Joaquim Mira and Domingos Luiz Pinto & Filho, Lda., Both with wide traditions in the wine field. Therefore, and as a result of such merger, SOVIBOR is managed by people traditionally linked to the wine business.</p>

<p></p><p>Located in the heart of the Douro, Quinta do Sagrado has 20 hectares of terraced vineyards. The vineyards planted in 14 plots separated by vineyards, in addition to its privileged situation, washed by the river and impacted by all the diversity of the Douro, give Quinta a unique production of quality and high reputation.</p>

The housing, rebuilt and expanded in the first quarter of the last century, lends the name to the property, because of the yellow color with which it is painted . <p></p><p>Curral Telles Mu TRed Wine presents dark grenat colour, clear and bright. Expressive and enveloping perfume with aromas of spices such as cinnamon and hints of fresh grapes. On the palate a distinctive, fine and persistent tannic texture.</p> <p>The grapes are destemmed and not crushed. They ferment spontaneously in a 500 litre barrel in which they macerate for 18 months. A different view of Douro wines through their vinification.</p>
<p></p><p>At the height of 640 meters, in the heart of the "Douro International Park", the DOURO COLINAS project was born.<br />It is in the abrupt transition of the granites of the plateau and the first folds of shale to the river Douro that is, among cliffs and cliffs, the farm with 450ha of which 106ha of vineyard.</p>
<p></p><p>Pôpa Reserva is a white wine with a very complex nose, where very elegant floral aromas stand out. On the palate, it's fresh, pure and has high acidity and a long, savoury finish.</p> <p>These are wines where balance stands out, with vibrant freshness and acidity, fruit aromas and floral notes, but also body and structure, imprinted by ageing in wood.
