Born in Lisbon in 1978 Diogo Lopes graduated in Agronomy from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia of the Universidade Técnica de Lisbon.
His training included harvest internships in the main Portuguese wine regions (Vinhos Verdes, Douro and Alentejo) and also an experience in the Napa Valley, California, in 2003.
