António Braga is the Director of Enology Mateus, Vinhos Verdes and Dão da Sogrape Vinhos. In the company since 2007, initially assumed the functions of oenologist of Quinta da Leda. There, in the Douro Superior, he made ten harvests and made an invaluable contribution, as Luís Sottomayor's right-hand man, to increase the portfolio and consolidate the prestige of the Douro da Sogrape wine brands.

The acknowledgment of the excellence of its performance naturally led to the attribution of new and greater responsibilities, in March 2017, in the oenology team of Sogrape Vinhos, and since then António Braga has been the direct guarantor of the Fine Wines - Vinhos Verdes and the supervision of its new team of oenologists, composed by Paulo Prior and Beatriz Cabral de Almeida.

Graduated in Food Engineering from the Higher Institute of Agronomy of the Technical University of Lisbon, this "alfacinha" born in 1976 specialized in Enology and Viticulture to be able to realize the dream of working in the vineyard and in the cellar. Moved by curiosity and the desire to know new stops, he began his career as an oenologist in 2003, with grape harvests in the Alentejo, California, Argentina, Chile and New Zealand.
