Cão Que Ladra is a limited-production red wine from the Douro Superior, crafted by winemaker António Braga. Made from 100% Mourisco Roxo sourced from a 40-year-old vineyard at 550 m altitude on schist soils, the grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with partial whole-cluster fermentation in traditional lagares. The wine is aged for 10 months in used French oak barrels to preserve varietal purity and elegance.
