Palato do Coa started in 2007, when the winemaker Carlos Magalhães challenged 5 of his friends to buy Quinta da Saudade, located in the Douro Superior, Vila Nova de Foz Côa; considered by many one of the best terroir of the Douro region, in Portugal.
With the goal to produce the best Douro wines, the estate has 7.5 hectares of old vineyards and 8.5 hectares planted in 2010
<p>Diálogo is a pleasant, easy drinking red wine, but with complexity, mineral notes and great depth, found in the classic Douro wines. It is produced from vineyards located in the Cima Corgo sub-region, being the main varieties, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Amarela and Tinta Barroca. Its freshness and youth well integrated with soft tannins, make this wine, full of Douro character, a very pleasant wine to drink. The illustration of Luís Afonso tells stories on the labels of Diálogo since its very first edition</p>

<p></p><p>Quinta do Noval Reserva White Wine is powerful, rich and with plenty of fruit and flowers, such as "Dittrichia Viscosa" which is found among the bards in the vineyards. It has volume and structure and a long, fresh finish.</p>
<p></p><p>Located in the extreme south-east of the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta da Extrema is part of a vast property with four contiguous Quintas that make up 476 hectares, belonging to Colinas do Douro Sociedade Agrícola.
