Botão Vinha das Lamas Bical is a limited-production white wine crafted by Lopes & Gonzales – Vines & Wines in Portugal’s Bairrada region. Predominantly made from the Bical grape, complemented by small proportions of Cercial and Maria Gomes, it is fermented in stainless steel and aged for around 10 months in large, neutral French and chestnut oak barrels. This careful winemaking preserves the wine’s vibrant freshness while adding complexity, resulting in enticing aromas of citrus and stone fruit, delicate floral hints, and a distinctive mineral edge. On the palate, it is dry, crisp, and persistent, with remarkable balance.
Elegant and versatile, Botão Vinha das Lamas Bical White Wine pairs beautifully with seafood, grilled fish, fresh salads, Japanese cuisine, and soft cheeses. Its lively acidity and mineral structure also make it a perfect match for richer dishes, offering a refined contrast. A true expression of Bairrada’s unique terroir, this wine delivers personality, precision, and great potential for ageing.
