Quinta do Calvário is the base for the wine producer Lopes & Gonzalez, Vines and Wines (Botão Wines producer), located in the southern end of the Bairrada region, near Coimbra. The company's philosophy is to create authentic wines with minimal intervention, faithfully reflecting the "terroir" of their vineyards.

The company was founded with the goal of producing elegant and fresh wines in Bairrada, seeking to change the negative perception that the region, unfortunately, still faces. Its approach focuses on producing single-plot wines, meaning each vineyard gives rise to its own wine, in order to express the unique characteristics of its place of origin.
