Outrora Raro Red Wine presents a deep nose where fine cherry notes cohabit with chalky and iodized notes, as well as hints of graphite, dark chocolate, black pepper and wild herbs. The rich, tense palate catapults all these aromatic sensations into an enveloping, salivating and very long finish. It's a gastronomic wine, obviously, but with great plasticity when pairing due to its rare combination of lightness, richness and tension.
VPuro comes from the partnership of two oenologist friends - Nuno Mira do Ó and João Soares with the aim of producing a wine from the Bairrada region.
From this project comes initially Outrora Red, a wine made with 100% Baga variety. But soon the portfolio increased with the wines Aliás and Doravante

Frei João Reserva Red Wine displays a deep ruby color and opens with elegant aromas of ripe black fruits, dried figs, pine resin, and subtle herbal and spicy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with firm but polished tannins and a long, fresh finish. Recognized for its quality, Frei João Reserva Tinto has received numerous accolades, including a Gold Medal at the Portugal Wine Trophy and Bronze at the Asia Wine Trophy. With a solid structure and vibrant acidity, it’s ideal for cellaring and pairs beautifully with rich meat dishes and aged cheeses.

Years available for purchase.

Quinta do Ortigão is located right in the center of Anadia, so much so that it seems strange that in the middle of an urban circuit, between rotundas, houses and super markets you can find a wine producer on the next bent

On the nose Calcário 3 do Principal White Wine is a bold and refined expression of Bairrada’s limestone terroir. Crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes, this wine reflects meticulous winemaking and exceptional vineyard precision. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of French oak barrels and large neutral vats, it strikes a perfect balance between purity and texture
