<p></p><p>Quinta do Ventozelo is one of the largest and oldest Douro Quintas. It has been passing through different hands over the centuries, hands that shaped it and transformed it to what it is today.</p>
<p></p><p>Quinta do Vallado, established in 1716, is one of the oldest and most famous estates in the Douro Valley.</p><p>It is located on the banks of the Corgo River, a tributary of the Douro River, right next to its mouth and close to the town of Peso da Régua.</p><p>It belonged to the legendary Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira and remains to this day in the hands of her descendants.</p>

<p></p> <p>It began almost two decades ago, the passion and pleasure that the people of Quinta do Sobreiro do Cima put in the products that lead to themselves. To the regional development of Trás-os-Montes and the site of Santa Valha and Rio Torto, evidencing the history and wine-growing of these lands, this group allied the identity of its roots to a business project of creation and development of agro-alimentary products of high quality.</p>

In its 120 hectares of vineyards 12 types of soil were identified. </p> <p>Since its creation in 1942, Sogrape Vinhos has been investing in the main Portuguese wine regions. With a strong presence in Dão, Douro and Vinhos Verdes, entry into Alentejo - the national wine region with the highest growth rates - was natural and inevitable</p>
