They are so many and so different that in 1935 a system of classes from Letra A to Letra F, with the right to benefit, and without the right below Letra F began and continues to this day. In Letter A are the plots with the greatest maturity and which brought so much fame to the Douro; in Letters F and following, the opposite. With less power and concentration, they were pushed towards abandonment. But there are still forgotten treasures, vineyards planted in other times that confirm the existence of several Douros. <p></p><p>Quinta da Pedra Escrita Rosé Wine is very elegant and complex aroma, very fresh, with vibrant red fruit and floral notes balanced by a subtle hint of basil from the Touriga Nacional grape veriety. In the mouth, the great freshness stands out in balance with very discreet notes of barrel fermentation and ageing adding a long and fat flavorsome finish.</p>

<p></p><p>Pata D'Urso Red Wine is a complex wine that clearly shows the Douro terroir of the old vineyards of Furada in a warm year. Aromatic and balanced, on the nose with notes of wild berries and some spice, in the mouth the wood is very well integrated into the wine, making it smooth, silky and delicate, with good volume and excellent acidity that makes the finish very persistent and appetising.</p>
