<p></p><p>Just like the grapes that give them origin and through a more prolonged stage and mostly in oak barrels, they are intended to be more serious wines, with more complexity, elegance and longevity. Primeiro Nome wines are even more characteristic of the year and the process, since not all years the best grapes are in the same plots/caste. They are wines that are made in the vineyard by the careful selection of those that I believe are the grapes with the potential to make a great wine.</p> <p></p> <p></p>

<p>The Cartuxa rosé was produced from two plots of Touriga Nacional, planted in the vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. Manual harvesting, with subsequent cooling of the grape to 14ºC, before total destemming and optical choice of berries. After pressing (gravity loading), only the drainage and fraction of the must for drainage and low pressure for the fermentation in stainless steel tank and barrel - 10% of the lot fermented in used barrels, intensifying volume and unctuousness. No malolactic fermentation was carried out. Ageing on fine lees for nine months with regular bâtonnage. It was produced for the first time in 2021.</p>

<p></p><p><span>Nat Cool Copo Alegre is an uncomplicated, versatile wine which will appeal to everyone. Its lively and concentrated colour shows purple glints. On the nose, cherry and blackberry aromas mingle with floral notes complemented by a subtle balsamic touch. The palate offers elegant structure, good concentration and freshness, with a long and expressive finish.</span></p>
