Alcunha Red Wine is made exclusively from the Touriga Franca grape variety. It has a ruby colour, and the nose shows notes of red fruits, slight balsamic and well-integrated toast. In the mouth it reveals good structure, tasty, with lively tannins and pleasant freshness.
It is a multipurpose wine that shines next to dishes of Iberian pork or tartare.
Alcunha wines are always single varietal wines. The grape variety may vary in each harvest, or even not be bottled at all in a given year. They are wines that show the grape variety, the place where it is planted, and the potential of this symbiosis. They are special wines for the simple connection between the most important production factors, soil, climate and grape variety.
