<p></p><p>AlmaNua Terroir Maritimo is the wine of discovery, creation and innovation, made in Requião, in the maritime terroir. Here the versatility of Alvarinho is explored in combinations with other varieties planted in the same area. Alvarinho is always in the majority and the grape varieties for the blend are chosen at each harvest. Winemaking follows the Mixtus concept and the final wine results from fermentation in stainless steel and wood, the latter being light and used to give the blend structure.</p> <p>In 2024 Manuel and Luís Cerdeira selected the Arinto and Maria Gomes grape varieties for the final wine blend with Alvarinho.</p>

<p>On the tasting notes, the Taboadella Encruzado typically displays a crystalline brilliance with a citrus to straw-yellow color. The aroma offers a complex bouquet of citrus notes, white stone fruits, melon, and often floral overtones, which can evolve into hazelnut, resin, and subtle spice with age. On the palate, it's described as firm and exuberant, with a silky, waxy, and creamy texture balanced by a crisp, linear, mineral acidity. This full-bodied and lively wine, with notable depth and a long finish, pairs exceptionally well with a variety of dishes. It's ideal for seafood, rich fish, structured white meats, creamy risottos, and aged or semi-soft cheeses.</p>

<p></p><p>The estate of Torre de Palma is located in the heart of the Alentejo wine region, in Monforte. Enjoying the site climate of the Serra de São Mamede and a natural method, resulting in a perfect combination to produce unique wines, in harmony with nature.</p> <p>The several plots of vines are planted in balanced soils, giving privilege to natural methods. Carefully blended from a number of Portuguese indigenous varieties such has Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional e Tinta Miúda (for the reds) or Antão Vaz, Arinto and Alvarinho (for the whites). This is a project crafted by the awarded winemaker Duarte de Deus, practically crafted by hand, in small quantities and with an artisan spirit.</p>
