Born in Denmark, Hans graduated in mechanical engineering and spent twenty years in Malaysia working with palm oil and coconut oil, rubber, cocoa and tea.

In Malaysia, Hans became a pilot - the ideal way to get around the rainforest. Hans keeps this tradition alive in Cortes de Cima, using his small plane to observe and visit and his vineyards.
