Terra de Lobos Red Wine is an IGP Tejo red wine made from Castelão and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from vineyards aged between 10 and 50 years. The vines grow in sandy “charneca” soils on flat terrain with a south–north exposure, which contributes to balanced ripening conditions. The winemaking is overseen by Manuel Lobo and Joana Silva Lopes, resulting in a wine of 13.5% alcohol that reflects both approachability and typicity of the region
Bright ruby in color, Terra de Lobos Red Wine reveals an expressive nose of fresh red fruits and cassis, lifted by subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with soft tannins and moderate acidity, providing a sense of balance and drinkability. The fruit character is clean and vibrant, evolving into a smooth and harmonious finish of medium persistence. With its freshness and accessibility, Terra de Lobos Tinto is well-suited for casual drinking and versatile food pairings, offering a modern expression of the Tejo terroir
